Overview

Following the success of last year’s forum, IJ are pleased to announce their forthcoming Renewable Energy Forum, taking place on the 29th – 30th March 2010, at the Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland.

This forum provides an ideal opportunity to gather senior financiers, developers, Government representatives, energy companies and leading players from the global renewable energy community to discuss and debate:

  • Debt - a problem that won’t go away? How will the lending community respond to market changes brought about by the credit crisis? And what direction are the banks taking for 2010 and beyond?
  • Equity from an investor’s perspective - who will provide the capital necessary to reach 2020 targets?
  • Supply chain and associated challenges - how has the supply chain been funded to deliver an ambitious programme and meet growing international demand?
  • Mergers and acquisitions - are we witnessing a changing landscape and if so, what are the impacts?
  • Sector specific trends and opportunities - what is the current market for biomass, solar and wind? Can we map the future direction and value for investors?

Plus join our Roundtable Discussion on future energy targets and our capacity to deliver. Delegates will be split into three roundtable groups set to develop a strategy for funding future Renewable Energy projects in the UK, Europe and ROW.

The Forums are structured as a series of panel sessions. Each panel is made up of 4 - 5 industry experts, making short and insightful presentations.

The panel Chairperson fosters active debate and discussion with the panel and audience, allowing for extensive Q&A sessions and full participation of all attending.
