Mortimer Menzel is head of Augusta's renewable energy practice. He has 6 years of expertise in placing equity finance in renewable energy deals (both for project and corporate finance) and 17 years of banking, legal and financial structuring experience.
Prior to joining Augusta,
Mortimer was at Goldman Sachs corporate finance/M&A in Frankfurt.
Before that Mortimer was a solicitor with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt, specializing in cross-border asset and
structured finance transactions. He trained with Linklaters in London.
Mortimer was recently named by the Dow Jones „Wealth Bulletin“ as one of 40 people providing financial and thought leadership to the European renewable and clean tech sector.
He is a frequent speaker on the financing of renewable energy at various conferences including the European Wind Energy Conferences, the World Future Energy Summit and Euromoney and Infrastructure Journal conferences.
