Andrew C R Marsden
Andrew heads the European activities of GE Energy Financial Services (EFS), GE Capital’s energy investing arm which has a portfolio of $23 billion of investments including over $4 billion invested in renewables, including over 7GW of wind energy.
Andrew’s renewables experience includes making investments in wind, solar and hydro power assets across Europe. Andrew is currently a Board Director of FRV (Spain-based solar developer), Gama Enerji (Turkey-based energy developer) and GE Capital Ltd.
Prior to joining GE in 2004, Andrew held a number of private equity and M&A positions, primarily focused on energy: Partner at AMP Henderson Private Capital where he was Head of Infrastructure, Europe and responsible for launching its secondary PFI fund; Head of Principal Investments at Enron Europe; and investment banker at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson where he worked on energy M&A and ECM transactions.
